Native fauna species present: The property has excellent habitat for many species, including wombats, koalas, Nankeen Kestrels, and many other bird species. 

Native flora species present: A variety of trees cover the property, including Messmate Stringybark, Eurabbie and Mountain Grey Gum. Shrubs found include Snowy Daisy-bush, Hop Goodenia and Prickly Currant-bush. 

Significant ecological features on or around this property: Located in the Strzelecki Ranges Bioregion, Kestrel’s Perch contains an endangered ecological community and habitat for koalas, part of the endemic Strzelecki / South Gippsland population.

Location

From Traralgon, take the C482 south for 6.8km, and then turn right onto the C483. After 6.9km, turn right onto Red Hill Rd, and follow this for 4.5km. The property will be on the right.
