The house is situated above an amphitheatre shaped valley. Below the towering eucalypts a tree fern canopy protect many species of small birds from the sharp eyes of a wedged-tail eagle reared at the property. Wombats socialise beside the two dams and a chorus of frogs fills the air. Wallabies and echidnas all enjoy the safe habitat here.
Solid brick on a slab, the house has an outdoor-indoor feel with every room having double glass sliding doors. The two bathrooms are beautifully appointed. In winter, two centre-of-house fire places provide warmth. Cathedral ceilings add a spacious feel. There is a separate self-contained cottage and double carport.
