Mistletoe - friend or foe?

'Mr Mistletoe', Professor Dave Watson from Charles Sturt University is our guest speaker at a field day in May. Professor Watson is the author of Mistletoes of Southern Australia.

The day profiles a 20 year regeneration project protected with a Trust for Nature covenant. Over 160 bird species have been recorded on the property which has seen natural dynamic plant succession transform a former grazing property into a nature haven.

Topical subjects on the day include how mistletoe fits into the ecology, managing woodlands and exclosure plots and nest boxes.
