Neds Corner Indigenous heritage open day

Join us at Trust for Nature's special conservation reserve, Neds Corner Station, to learn about its rich indigenous heritage and how people have lived along the Murray River for at least the last 20,000 years.

Hear from Traditional Owners about the significance of this place. Hear from La Trobe University archaeologists about their research at Neds. Learn about the cultural management of the property from Trust for Nature, Mallee CMA and Parks Victoria.

The day will include a Welcome to Country, bush tucker lunch, and guided cultural tour.

Our yearly field day program of conservation events throughout September to November

Each year we hold a series of events around Victoria throughout the spring season. Hundreds of attendees join in, travelling from from all over the country. Our events come in all kinds of formats, and may include:

  • Workshops to learn more about a species or subject
  • Field outings to put your new knowledge into practice
  • Guided tours by experts in the fields of science, conservation and/or species

  • Talks on private land conservation practices for landowners
