Bush for Birds launch

Join us to launch a project aimed at protecting the habitat of two of north east Victoria's most endangered birds

Bush for Birds launch

There are just 400 Regent Honeyeaters and 2000 Swift Parrots left in the wild.

Thanks to a partnership between the National Landcare Program, North East Catchment Management Authority and Trust for Nature, we're launching Bush for Birds which aims to protect habitat for the honeyeaters and parrots in north east Victoria.

Grants are available for a range of activities like fencing, revegetation, weed control and ecological thinning.

Bush for Birds follows on from another project which successfully protected 480 ha of endangered ecological communities in north east Victoria. Find out more about Bush for Birds and how it can help you prevent species extinction by coming along to a launch.

Join us to plant trees and enjoy a BBQ afterwards.
