“We work collaboratively to protect nature on private land forever.”
About the role
Trust for Nature is a not-for-profit organisation that works collaboratively to protect nature on private land in Victoria forever. We have protected about 100,000 ha across covenants and our conservation reserves, as well as managing 42 reserves and operating a Revolving Fund for conservation property purchases.
Trust for Nature has recently established a new volunteers program with philanthropic support from the John T. Reid Charitable Trusts. The volunteer program complements the organisation’s existing stewardship services, by offering additional support to covenantors from like-minded volunteers who have reasonable knowledge and experience about Victoria’s natural environment, and conservation management.
This is an opportunity for you to contribute in a practical way to the protection and improvement of Victoria’s natural environment.
We are seeking 10 additional volunteers to help conduct visits in our North East, Mallee, Gippsland and Wimmera regions during this spring and next autumn.
