Trust for Nature's Revolving Fund is protecting nature on private land throughout Victoria, forever
Trust for Nature uses the Revolving Fund to purchase unique properties in the market with conservation value, protect them with a covenant, and then sell them on to new owners. All proceeds from property sales are put directly back into the Fund, forever recycled by Trust for Nature to purchase and protect more and more properties.
In this way, the Revolving Fund turns the regular property cycle into the conservation of Victoria’s natural heritage.

Before purchase, each Revolving Fund property is first assessed by Trust for Nature conservation experts in order to get the green tick of approval.
If you’re lucky enough to secure one of these properties, you’ll receive ongoing advice and support from Trust for Nature through the Stewardship program. You’ll also be able to apply for a range of grants and financial incentives.
First established in 1989, the Revolving Fund has already protected more than 6,668 hectares of Victoria. To date, more than 52 Revolving Fund properties have been on-sold to new owners.
