Special Conservation Trusts

Trust for Nature currently acts as a trustee for three special purpose conservation trusts which have been established through bequests, donations or other externally provided funding. These trusts have been established for specified conservation activities. These trusts are:

  • The Amateur Gardeners Foundation, established for the primary purpose of accumulating and disseminating knowledge related to dwarfer and Alpine plants for the benefit of amateur gardeners.
  • The Pimelea Conservation Trust Fund, established for the advancement of the protection and conservation of Spiny Rice-flower.
  • The Growling Grass Frog Trust, established for the protection and benefit of the native Growling Grass Frog (Litoria raniformis) in the Merri Creek catchment area.
